This new East River facility for Solar One establishes a dynamic hub for environmental innovation and learning. Serving as the northern gateway to the East Side Coastal Resiliency project, it aspires to exemplify the OneNYC principles of sustainability and resilience. The 6,400 SF structure includes flexible indoor classrooms that can open for community events, outdoor terraces, and offices for Solar One staff and students. Additional storage and flexible support space at the lower level serve the recreational and stewardship programs of Stuyvesant Cove Park.
